STATE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION
So, who else is worried? I am very nervous about the state coming into my room Monday. I am mostly concerned about the class behaving while they are there. I hope all goes well. I don't want to be personally cited for anything. Am I the only other person concerned? Or is everyone feeling the same way as me?

CAPA.... CAPA.... CAPA... I have nightmares about them... and everything that can go wrong...
I can understand -- we had the same thing in Denver, except it was called the CSAP. It's terrifying, cause so many things are riding on these tests!
CAPA ... can't wait till it's over... at least you won't have all four teams visiting .... I should serve breakfast and lunch in my room for ALL the visitors i'll have... Wednesday it's over HURRAY!!!!!!
I work in Costley School. CAPA will be coming to visit us in two weeks. I can relate to the anxiety you feel.Two years ago The CAPA team visited our school and many teachers used this as an opportunity to vent and air our dirty laundry. It came back to bite us. We ended up having to do a lot more work to do when the CAPA team turned around and put everything in writing as a "needs improvement". We didn't need that...
How many times do I have to tell and reassure you that you are a fabulous teacher. Your classroom clearly illustrates that learning is definitely taking place there. And it's a friendly room (even though it use to be mine). HAHAHAHA! So,
RRR -RELAX, RELATE, RELEASE.
It will be fine! We are and have been doing our job; it's not like we just started doing the right thing 2 weeks ago.When I left MSU, I went back to the school to get a folder and ended up staying there until 5:30PM. Then at 6:30 PM I had to go to a couple's party. I'm just getting in. I'm beat. The party was a nice distraction from the CAPA crap.My husband and I won two gifts; one for being the first couple to arrive.This is noteworthy since I'm usually late for things, though I must say, I have not been late for this course
