Dieting tips

I hope someone can shed some light. I need a new diet plan. I have been very unsuccessful and have gained a lot of weight. I can't afford to join LA weight loss again and am in need of inspiration, motivation. HELP!!!!!

A lot of people that I know [my boyfriend who has a huge appetite, included] have done Weight Watchers... you keep track of your food intake with their points system. You could find the points info online or probably buy the handbook for a fairly low price. Or ask some of your coworkers....Best wishes.

iVillage is an online community for women that has an extensive dieting and health section. I go there for ideas and to read blogs of other people working on their weight -- check it out. It's at www.iVillage.com

Randi, you know we talk about this issue all the time. It affects so many facets of your life. There are no easy answers, you just have to find you niche and stop beating up on and saying negative things about yourself.

Opray once said, that 'losing weight was the hardest thing she'd ever done.' I believe it. But it can be done, that's the key. Some people have chosen surgery. I don't feel led to do that.

Today, I went shopping at Eddie Bauer. I got three down vests - one for my husband, my son and myself. Their jackets were smaller than the one I purchased for myself. I didn't feel too good about it, but hey, 'it is what it is'.

IT's all mental. It's got to click in your mind, FIRST! And once it clicks there, you can keep it moving. Be encouraged, my JAP sister.
